Our founder
David Fraser
The business expanded to Fort Lauderdale in the 1970s and across to Europe in the 1990s, when it also introduced charter and management services. What did not change was the way he worked.
His values, his work ethic and his obsessive focus on excellence, integrity and discretion became the DNA of the company, and they remain central to everything we do. The schooner he worked on still sits at the centre of our crest, above the year the business began.

1947
A brokerage in Newport Beach
David Fraser set out to combine his passion for sailing with his talent for selling, and established a small brokerage on the West Coast. The schooner he worked on still sits at the centre of our crest.
1970s
Across to Fort Lauderdale
The business expanded to Florida, putting Fraser brokers on both American coasts and within reach of the Caribbean season.
1990s
Into Europe, and into charter
Fraser crossed to Europe and introduced charter and management services alongside sales and purchase, becoming a full-service house.
